Halfway through the CCM!

A lot has gone down. (kind of)

So I'll just start from after I emailed you last time. After emailing we had free time, played soccer, and then had dinner. During dinner, the President of the CCM took my companion to his office and told me to chill with the other elders in the cafeteria. I knew this was a possibility of happening because my companion has had lots of meetings with the president and was struggling hard core this week. Anyways, sorry for the sidenote, but my companion was sent home. It was actually really sad and I felt really bad for him, but he is on the right path that he needs to be. I made him promise me that by this time nexct year, that he would be back on the mission because he really wants to be. After that I felt way bad for any struggle I had with him. You truly can never judge anyone because you don't understand who they are and what they´ve been through.

Anyways, I'm in a trio now with Elder Passmore and Elder Spackman. They are both hard workers who know a lot more spanish than me and are good at soccer haha, so I have some work to do. But it is fun being with them. My old companion was the district leader, then Elder Passmore became the district leader when my companion left. Now at our 3 week mark, there have been leadership changes and now Elder Passmore is the zone leader and Elder Spackman is the district leader. haha So in 3 weeks I've had 3 companions and they've all been a district leader! I don't know what this is preparing me for lol. Anyways the people who were 3 weeks ahead of me in the CCM left today and it was actually sad. There were many great elders I'm going to miss, but the work moves on.

I hope you all are partying up your last month of summer!

Love, Landon

P.S. Sorry I forgot, but Fast Sunday is verrrrryyyyy long when you study from 7-9 and then have church meetings from 9- 6 pm...….then dinner.

Also yesterday I had 5 minutes to prep a 30 min Book of Mormon lesson, so I flipped until I found a chapter with a lot of markings in it. It was Alma 32 and it turned out to be a very good lesson! Everyone told me they used it to teach their investigators!
