I'm at my one month mark!

Wow another week has gone by! I didn't think a lot happened this week because we do the same thing every day, but a lot has happened actually. The new shipment of missionaries came in. One guy played lacrosse in high school in Utah. I forgot the name of his school but it's fun to talk with him.

Spanish has been up and down this week. Sometimes I feel great about it. On Sunday for example, I blessed the sacrament, then later was called up to give a talk on charity and love. Then our district of 10 sang the intermediate hymn. You could say my back was pretty tired from carrying the sacrament meeting....just kidding. But all of this was in Spanish so I felt good. But then other days I don't understand things that the people we teach are saying. I can talk and read well enough but listening is a struggle. But it will come with time.

Saturday was a cool day because our teacher brought her cousin who is inactive, and her cousin's boyfriend who isn't a member. And we got to teach them! It was fun to teach real people and they were super cool and nice. The girlfriend is pregnant and I shared a scripture about how God's love is like a mother's but better. I think it really touched her! We get to teach them again this week so fingers crossed haha.

So....I've gained some weight here which is good! None of the waists on my pants can button except for my suit pants. I just hide it with my belt haha, but sometimes you can still see it. My district has started throwing out fat jokes at me, but don't worry, I won't let myself get a dad bod. In South America it isn't rude to call people fat or call them out for eating a lot. My teacher called me gordito haha because of my pants. Lots of bread and less physical activity = weight gain.

Every day we wake up and get ready, study, breakfast, grammar, missionary improvement, practice teaching, language study, lunch, study, physical activity, shower, study, more coaching missionary, more grammar, dinner, daily planing, practice teach, then bed. Haha Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are my favorite because they have a different schedule. Anyways, I'd love to hear from you all and hope you're doing great! Plus I'm at my month mark so YEET!

P.S. If you need something to study, study Alma 24 and how freaking dope the Anti-Nephi-Lehies are!

Love, Landon
